This course has as its primary
aim to introduce the characteristics of the
imaginary, a place for the creation and manifestation
of image and imagination. Therefore this course
introduces the diverse examples of cultural
phenomena that show actual embodiment of the
imagination, in a geographical, historical context
of East and West, both diachronically and synchronically,
and at the same time offers a framework for
the understanding of the functions and working
principles of imagination through an overview
analysis of human studies, beyond the boundaries
of separate disciplines, to finally be able
to come up with a proper methodology and search
for a new epistemology of the imaginary. |
